My name is Rachel Jackson and I am a rising 2L at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Before law school, I attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I have lived my entire life in Knoxville, Tennessee before moving to Memphis to attend law school. At the University of Tennessee I was a member of Alpha Chi Omega and served on the Panhellenic Judicial Board and SGA Senate. In law school, I serve as a 2L Bar Governor. I am very passionate about pursuing my legal career, and I couldn’t have picked a better city! My favorite Memphis activities include running along the Mississippi River, attending Tigers Games, visiting Shelby Farms, eating Central BBQ, visiting historical sites, and enjoying time on Beale Street. My happiest times are spent when I am with my family back in Knoxville with my younger sister Emily and two amazing parents. I also love traveling, especially to Italy, where I actually lived for several months. My biggest passions include running, hiking, spending time outdoors, and of course… the Tennessee Vols!
Rachel began with the MMFLG in May 2019.
