What is Modern Maximalism?
Modern Maximalism is all about expressing personality through design. It’s a curated mix of patterns, textures, and statement pieces that create a dynamic yet cohesive environment. Unlike cluttered maximalism, this approach keeps the space intentional and elegant.

Having outgrown our previous office, MMFLG made the decision to move to a new space on the fourth floor of the Crescent Center, a location which Miles Mason calls “arguably the most recognizable office space in east Memphis.” We looked for “a special place where my daughter, Anne Mason, could use her commercial interior design expertise,” says Mason.

On her work in the new office, Anne says, “We couldn’t be more thrilled to see MMFLG settling into their brand-new space! Transforming a previously all-white, contemporary office into a warm and welcoming environment, we added calming blue accents and homey touches to create a cozy atmosphere. Both Anne Mason Design and MMFLG wanted clients to feel safe and at ease, so we incorporated residential elements throughout, making it a true home away from home.”
