Kayla Dean

Legal Assistant, Miles Mason Family Law Group, PLC

Kayla Dean is originally from Tupelo, Mississippi, where she attended Tupelo High School, but is now a proud Memphian. She has been married for six years to her wonderful husband, Patrick. Together they have two children, a son, Gabe, and a daughter, Marley. They also have two fur babies, miniature schnauzers, Loki and Nova.

Kayla joined the Miles Mason Family Law Group, PLC in 2023 as a Legal Assistant, a career change for Kayla, who has a background of 17 years in the restaurant industry and three years in home health care. Kayla’s background opened her eyes to how delicate people can be in certain moments and taught her the importance of caring for others when they are most in need.

Kayla has family members with law backgrounds themselves. Her interactions with those family members piqued her interest in a law career. Since joining the firm, Kayla has been inspired to continue her education, hoping to pursue a paralegal degree in the near future.

In their free time, Kayla and her family love visiting Memphis staples like the Pink Palace and the zoo. They also love to go camping and will seek any opportunity for a vacation where nature is involved. Kayla is also an avid fan of Ole Miss football.
