On October 16, 2024, Joe Smith was invited back to present at the Fall Tennessee Judicial Conference (TJC). This is second time sharing his knowledge with the Tennessee Judges (a very prestigious honor). Here is his experience in his own words:
On October 16, 2024, I had the honor of presenting at the Fall Tennessee Judicial Conference (TJC) alongside Chancellor Kasey Culbreath of Lauderdale and Tipton County. Our presentation focused on recent Tennessee Court of Appeals decisions involving domestic relations matters, providing valuable insights into the evolving landscape of family law.
This marked my second time presenting at the TJC, and I was grateful for the opportunity to engage with judges and legal professionals from across the state. Our discussion highlighted key appellate opinions that impact practitioners, litigants, and the judiciary, emphasizing the practical implications of these rulings in civil domestic cases.
As a senior attorney at Miles Mason Family Law Group, I remain committed to advancing the understanding and practice of family law. Sharing the stage with Chancellor Culbreath, who brought her invaluable judicial perspective, allowed for a dynamic exchange of ideas that benefited all in attendance.
I look forward to future opportunities to contribute to this vital dialogue and am thankful to the Tennessee Judicial Conference for fostering an environment of collaboration and professional growth.
